Hi Greg, I am a teacher living in the Middle East but have had epilepsy since I was 13 (Today I'm 56.) There's been a discussion going in the forums of the EFA site on wouldn't it be great if Oprah would do a show on Epilepsy especially this month - or really anytime soon. This show is watched around the world - sorry Heroes isn't. :-( But it seems from the discussion that many have tried to contact her about it in the past and she hasn't answered their emails. I'm wondering if someone like yourself in the same world was able to "talk about it" with her, if she might be more amenable to the idea. She could have people like yourself, Susan Axelrod, and other appropriate people on it. She has access through her show to many millions of viewers throughout the world - and in my part of the Middle East everyone watches her - just like they do in the US. Would you be so kind as to connect with her on this matter, or find someone who might be even closer to her to sit down at coffee with her and talk to her? Thank you for listening to my request. By the way, we are trying to start an epilepsy chapter here where I live where the whole subject matter is still shrouded in secrecy. To be honest even though I have lived with it all my life since I was 13 I have rarely talked about it, but "I have come out of the closet this year" and am talking about it. Please email me at lcmitch@postworld.net if you think this is at all possible. Thank you for considering it.

Hi Greg, I am up in the northern part of our country called Maine. I have to say that I really enjoyed the video and I can't agree with you enough about the knowledge needing to be out there. I had to have surgery done two years ago because on a good day I was having 20 seizures and on three different seizures meds. Since my surgery I have been fortunate that I have only had a few small seizures since. After my surgery our local paper did a write up on what I had been through and I am hoping to continue to spread the word around here about what ep is and how to handle it. When I taught I use to have one student in every class that would know what to do if something was to happen.LOL Thankfully I taught Medical Office Assistant,

Dear Greg, as a social worker for patients with epilepsy in Czech republic I would like to appreciate your work, I think, we should speak about this diagnosis as much as we can to get out myths about epilepsy. By the way now I´m trying to find out more information about epilepsy seizures alert in the world. Do you have some information what is possible to buy in your country? Please contact me on this email: valouchoval@fnplzen.cz. Thank you for your answer. Lucie (Pilsen, Czech republic)
